After receiving a Bachelors degree from Baylor University and a Masters degree from North Texas University, Sharon taught elementary school for six years before she and her husband, Greg decided to start their family. On October 5, 2001 she gave birth to her first son, Paul. Although she loved teaching, Sharon decided to stay at home with Paul rather than returning to the classroom.

During her last year of teaching, Sharon had started painting at a pottery studio on the weekends. After giving several of her pieces as shower gifts, Sharon received such a positive response that she decided to pursue her new hobby as more than a hobby. She began to sell her pieces to various baby boutiques and specialty stores. Since then the Lord has continually blessed her with new ideas and a growing business.

In addition to a growing business, the Lord has blessed Sharon with a growing family. She is now the mother of three boys. Mark Gregory was born on May 26, 2004 and Luke Gordon was born on March 29, 2008.
